During student lunches this week, the library staff will be giving away gently-used and new books! The library staff is also running its annual "FREE YOUR FINES" event. Please bring your overdue books to a library staff member and say "Please FREE MY FINES". If you previously returned your books past their due dates, you also qualify for our "FREE YOUR FINES" event. Stop by and talk with a member of our library team! **Students who have MISPLACED library books do NOT qualify for this promotion.**
Seniors - Cap & Gown Picture Info
Please review the attached flyer and visit the Sign Up Genius site to select a time slot. Caps and gowns will be provided. Girls should wear something that will not show at the top of the gown. College Acceptance Success For the past three months, 10 LHS JROTC cadets have been going through the tedious college application process. This has been quite a challenge for these cadets, but they have persevered through the challenging process. From writing essays, resumes, and taking numerous tests, this proves that this process is anything but easy. But, as we see our college acceptance rates, we are proud to report that 4 LHS cadets have been accepted to the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina: Nadia Mingo, Breeana Lear, Jimena Damian-Lara, and Shakira McGriff

2nd Annual Alumni Baseball Game - December 9 @ 3:00 pm
The LHS Baseball Alumni Game has been postponed until next Saturday, December 9, 2023. We will begin honoring current and past players at 2:50pm; the first pitch is at 3:00pm. All previous ticket purchases will be honored; ticket sales will continue through next week.

In celebrating Culturama Day 2023, our international faculty dressed in traditional garb and created presentations to introduce their home countries. Our fabulous international teachers even brought authentic treats to enjoy. Thank you for sharing a piece of home with us!!
