This morning, Mrs. Ovalles, Ms. Mood, and Ms. Jordan hosted a senior class meeting. They covered the following topics: senior picnic, graduation practice/graduation procedures, graduation attire, attendance recovery, graduation credit requirements, Chromebook/ charger return policies, mandatory senior fees ($35 to be paid no later than May 1), and paying debts (textbook, technology, library book, etc.). If you are a parent of a senior, please ask him/her to share the information and flyers with you.

South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis has recognized William “Ed” Humphrey as the South Carolina Financial Literacy Master Teacher Program’s Educator of the Month for April: “As we celebrate Financial Literacy Month this April, we applaud Ed Humphrey and other outstanding educators across our state who are committed to promoting personal finance education in their classrooms,” Treasurer Loftis said. “The SC Financial Literacy Master Teacher Program equips these educators with the tools they need to teach their students strong financial behaviors, such as saving, budgeting, managing debt and understanding credit.” Congratulations!!!

The Lancaster County School District Special Olympics is canceled for Friday, April 11th. Special Olympics has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 16th.
