Please pay special attention to the following dates and times, as they are slightly different than the ones in previous months: Tuesday, December 2, through Thursday, December 4, from 4pm until 6pm; Saturday, December 6, from 8am until noon.     AND Tuesday, December 9 through Thursday, December 11, from 7:45am - 8:45am AND 4pm until 6pm; Saturday, December 13, from 8am until noon.

Our academic scholars put nature's treasures to good use today. With the help of district art liaison Liz Bell, they blended story time and art. What a beautiful combination!

Mrs. Witherspoon and her very talented slate of actors are LIVE in the Bruin Den. Their performance is titled Just Another Audition.

Tonight during Parent/Teacher Conferences, Promise Neighborhood and USC-L worked with parents and seniors to create their FAFSA accounts. It's getting real!

This is a reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held tomorrow from 4:30–6:00 PM. We encourage all parents and guardians to attend as we discuss student progress and provide updates for the academic year.

We are so proud of our talented Honors Choir!

Today, our academic staff and their scholars visited Walmart to learn shopping and budgeting techniques. Their journey continued as librarian Sherri Alston and Coach Ricky Brown teamed up to take the scholars on a Lindsay Pettus Greenway adventure! Our scholars enjoyed story time, collected nature's treasures, hiked on the Greenway to look for wildlife, and enjoyed a Chick fil A lunch. Next Thursday, our scholars will use their collected treasures to create beautiful art. Stay tuned...
