College and Career Adviser Madyson Patsel has done an outstanding job supporting the Class of 2024. She organized several college, career, and military acceptance events. We are so blessed to have her here and proud of our seniors and their accomplishments!

Lancaster High School Cheer tryouts will be held Saturday June 1,2024.
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

$1000 Scholarships Available


On Saturday, May 11, parents can join a free legal workshop and learn about Last Will and Testaments and Advance Directives. We will have an attorney from South Carolina Legal present, and parents may ask questions.
We will also have a guest speaker, Nurse Lever, to share important information about vaccination requirements and other school health services.

Senior Sponsor and Graduation Coordinator Mary Beth Hileman met with seniors this morning. She provided them with informational packets and discussed the senior picnic, graduation practice, fees, graduation attire, and graduation. Please join us on April 30th for the April Parent Information Session at 6:00 pm. We will hold the session at the Carole Ray Dowling Building and have Donnie Sims from the Lancaster Police Department to talk to students and families about Cyber-Bullying.


Lancaster High School alumni Alex Melgar presented a bill at the South Carolina Student Legislature. Alex is the Presbyterian College class of 2027 President. He is also the LHS Senior Class President for School year and LHS JROTC Battalion commander for School year 2022-2023.

MUSC Health is excited to announce a free sports physical event - open to all student-athletes who plan to participate in high school sports for the upcoming school year.
The event is completely free of charge, and no appointments are necessary. All you need to do is bring your completed sports physical form, which can be obtained from your school's athletic director or downloaded from the SC High School League website (https://schsl.org/archives/2353).



USC-Lancaster is offering 10 spots in an 8-week summer program designed to give students a head start on their science degree. Students who are chosen to participate in S3P will get free tuition to take 2 summer classes and participate in beyond the classroom experiences with our science faculty.
