The LHS Dance Team traveled to the Belk Theater to see Alvin Ailey's American Dance Theater The students truly enjoyed the performance.



Over the February 14th weekend, five students from the Lancaster High School Bruin Band took part in the USC Honor Band Clinic. Students participated in rehearsals and attended concerts across the weekend, culminating in a finale concert today (2/22/25). LHS Band Director Ethan Dyer and Assistant Director Quincy Holmes are very proud of these students. During this afternoon's panel discussion successful Lancaster High School graduates Jessica Gladden, Ryleigh Jackson, Traci Kirk, Erica Simpson, Ron Trapps, and Samaria Witherspoon answered questions presented by moderators Scout Brunsvold and Esmeralda Garcia Gamboa and student attendees. During this morning's panel discussion, the Black History Committee afforded students the opportunity to hear from successful Lancaster High School graduates. Natasha Duncan, Ryleigh Jackson, Traci Kirk, Erica Simpson, and Ron Trapps answered questions presented by moderators Scout Brunsvold and Esmeralda Garcia Gamboa and student attendees. The panelists spoke about formal versus self-education, perseverance in the face of adversity, personal responsibility, and the power of surrounding yourself with peers who have your best interest at heart. THANK YOU, panelists, for inspiring future Bruin graduates to reach for the stars!
