Students and staff at Lancaster High School are joining together to collect aid for flood victims impacted by Hurricane Helene in the Western part of our state and NC. Please share with our students and any school organizations you may be sponsoring. ANY non-perishable items are welcome; please note the following examples:
-case of water
-peanut butter
-pop tarts
-granola bars
-dry cereal
-chef boyardee
-canned goods
-beanie weenies
-diapers
-formula
-feminine hygiene products
-cleaning products
-bug spray
-socks
Please bring items to the main office no later than Friday, October 4th, as Ms. Silvestro and her team will be delivering the items this weekend. The power of our Bruin Family when we join together to lend a hand is truly remarkable. Thank you in advance for your help and contributions.

The FFA is sponsoring a supply drive to aid flood victims in Western North Carolina. We need your help. Please note the items on the attached list. Other items needed include baby formula, diapers, baby food, DEF, 35-55 gallon trash bags, hydration drink packets, box fans, and blankets.
We will accept donations in the ag shop at the Career Center. We MUST work fast as the next loads are shipping out of Lancaster on Wednesday. Let’s rally together and serve our fellow man.

Lancaster County School District will be operate on normal schedule Monday, September 30, 2024. ALL Lancaster County schools, buildings, and facilities will be open on Monday, September 30, 2024. ALL events and activities will take place as scheduled on Monday, September 30, 2024.

We have been in contact with Emergency Management and the Governor has declared a State of Emergency. Due to threat of wind gusts exceeding the state regulations, busses will not be able to travel the roadways. As a safety precaution, ALL Lancaster County schools, buildings, and facilities will be closed on Friday, September 27, 2024. Lancaster County School District will have an Elearning day. You will receive eLearning information from your student’s school. ALL events and activities are canceled on Friday, September 27, 2024.

The special three-part video series will premiere every Thursday night at 7:00, starting on September 12th, and will run through October 3rd, on CERRA’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
