Five Days a Week Schedule

A & B-day students will REPORT TO CAMPUS FIVE DAYS A WEEK.

C & D-day students will LOG IN FIVE DAYS A WEEK.

E-day students will continue to log in to Virtual SC.

*Lunches will be distributed to VIRTUAL STUDENTS on Fridays (11am-1pm). Please pull into the bus loop. Students must be present in the vehicles.

Seniors - Important Updates

There is no prom or senior picnic this year.

Makeup cap and gown pictures will be taken on Friday, April 23rd from 8:30am-11am. Please complete the google form in your school email for an appointment time.

Senior materials pick-up day for A and B students is Thursday, April 29th from 9:30am-3:30pm; BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (appontments will be set at a later date).

Senior materials pick-up day for C, D, E students is Friday, April 30th from 9:30am-3:30pm in the auditorium lobby.

Graduation is on Friday, June 11th-- 9:00am at the stadium. Graduates will be socially distanced on the field. Each graduate will receive 6 tickets. Graduates' families/guests will sit together and will be socially distanced from other families. The rain date is Saturday, June 12th.

2021-2022 Virtual Program Registration

Lancaster County School District will be offering a virtual program for the 2021-2022 school year. If you have a student entering grades 4-12, your child MAY be eligible for our district’s virtual program. Children in grades 4-12 will only be considered for our virtual program by completing an application.

Applications will be accepted starting April 1st at noon and end on April 15th at noon.

Once applications are received and eligibility is determined, a lottery system will be used to select students.

Health Reminders for Students & Parents

  • Please continue to wash your hands, wear a mask, and socially distance!

  • Continue to monitor your child daily for symptoms of COVID-19.

  • If your child or someone in the home is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not send your child to school.

  • If your child is not feeling well, do NOT give them fever-reducing medication (i.e. Ibuprofen or Tylenol) and then send them to school. Keep them home and contact your healthcare provider. Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s school nurse if you are not sure whether or not you should send your child to school.

  • If your child has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive with COVID-19, do not send them to school. Notify your child's teacher and the school nurse.

  • If your child or someone in your home has been tested for COVID-19 and have not received the test results, do not send your child to school.

Congratulations, LHS BAND

This fall, the Lancaster High School Marching Band will be participating in The Mighty Sound Experience at USC. The Lancaster band, and select other high school bands, will take the field at halftime with the USC band during the USC vs Kentucky football game. LHS band students will be able to experience a home SEC football game in an extremely unique setting.


The District received notification yesterday, Wednesday, March 17th, that a very small percent of the Verizon Hotspots are having an overheating problem -- including smoking, melting or swelling around the battery. If you are experiencing any overheating issues with your Verizon hotspot, please stop using the device immediately and contact the school to swap it out. Please see the link below for additional information.


For specific testing dates, please view our upcoming events calendar. Students will need to bring their school-issued, charged Chromebooks with them.

All students on tracks A, B, C & D in grades 9, 10 and 11 will take the MAP test with their 1st block teacher.

The SC State Department of Education has partnered with Graduation Alliance to provide additional academic support to students and their families who may be struggling during this time of alternative instructional settings. The program is called ENGAGE SC and there is no cost.

The eligibility criteria for referral are students who are in grades K-12 and who:

  • did not engage in their school’s in-person or remote education offerings in Spring or Fall 2020; or

  • are chronically absent; or

  • are in danger of failing one or more classes; or

  • are McKinney Vento eligible or are in foster care; or

  • students whose families have requested additional support.

These criteria apply to both students participating in remote and in-person education offerings.

How to Update a Chromebook

  1. Click the bottom right corner of the Chrome OS desktop.
  2. Select the Settings icon.
  3. Click About Chrome.
  4. Click Check for updates.
  5. To apply the update, click the arrow icon and select Restart to Update.

How to Remove a User Profile

  1. Logout of the Chromebook.
  2. Click the on the profile you want to remove.
  3. Click the down arrow next to the profile name.
  4. Click Remove this user.
  5. Click Remove this user again.
