Free Summer Meals

FREE meals for youth ages 18 and younger will be available this summer at seven schools in Lancaster County School District, thanks to the USDA Summer Food Service program.
  • AR Rucker Middle, Buford Middle and South Middle will serve breakfast from 7:30 a.m.-8:15 a.m. and lunch from 10:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. June 6-23.
  • Clinton Elementary and Erwin Elementary will serve breakfast from 7-8 a.m. and lunch from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 6-30.
  • Kershaw Elementary will serve lunch from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 6-30. Only lunch will be available at Kershaw Elementary.
  • Lancaster High will serve breakfast 7:30 a.m.-8:15 a.m. and lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. June 13-July 21. This site will have a break July 4-8.

   All sites are closed on Fridays.

A copy of the policy is on file in the Office of School Food Services, 300 S. Catawba Street, Lancaster, SC.  It may be reviewed by any interested party. For details on the program, call 803.286.6972.

All children in attendance are served the same meal at no charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there is no discrimination in the course of the food service.
